Sōndra Banfield Dailey
Serves as the publisher of Sweet Earth Flying Press.
She
earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A.T. in Elementary
Education from Howard University and an M.B.A. in
international business from the
University of Baltimore. She is a former management
consultant and school counselor. As a management
consultant she created a number of working documents,
reports, marketing tools and other print media. While
employed as a counselor at the Calvert School, an
independent school in Baltimore, Maryland, she wrote a
first grade American history book and a fourth-grade Texas
history book, both of which were published and distributed
as part of the school's premier home school curriculum.
While teaching creative writing, dance and drama in a number
of El Paso elementary schools, she wrote, choreographed and
directed plays, performances and other educational media for

Dr. Maceo Crenshaw Dailey, Jr.
Serves as the editor of Sweet Earth Flying Press.
He
is associate professor of history and director of African
American studies at the University of Texas at El Paso. He
earned a B.A. in History/Social Science from Towson State
University, an M.A. in History from Morgan State
University and a Ph.D. in History from Howard University.
Dr. Dailey has published a number of scholarly essays and
entries in professionals journals, encyclopedias and
books. He co-edited two books: Wheresoever My people
Chance to Dwell (with Kristine Navarro, published by
Black Classic Press, 2000) and Tuneful Tales (with
the late Ruthe Winegarten, published by Texas Tech Press,
2002). He has a book contract with Greenwood Press
to produce The Booker T. Washington Encyclopedia. He also
has a book contract with Texas Tech Press for the
publication of his biography of Emmett Jay Scott. (MORE)
