Prior to moving to El Paso, Sōndra Banfield
Dailey owned and operated Banfield Design Group, an interior design
firm that successfully completed projects for a number of
residential clients, businesses and educational institutions in
the greater Baltimore area. She also pursued her lifelong love
of dance through Joyworks Ministries and as director of Dance
for Joy, the dance ministry of Faith Christian Fellowship in
Owings Mills, Maryland. From 1992-2000, Mrs. Dailey served on
the board of trustees of St. Paul's School, an independent boys'
school in Brooklandville, Maryland. She now serves as secretary
of the board of Kids Excel El Paso, an educational dance program
serving a number of schools in El Paso. She is also a member of
the board of the FEMAP Foundation, which supports programs
providing health services, economic development, and
entrepreneurial training for marginalized populations in the El
Paso/Mexico border region.
She is the owner and principal designer of
Loopworks, a company that designs and creates hand-knitted
accessories, such as bookmarks, eyeglass cases, fancy facecloths
and ties.
